Login to the Student Information System (Neptun), and change your password.

Neptun's web page:https://neptun3r.nyme.hu/hallgato

User name: Your Neptun ID (The Neptun ID is a six character long string, consisting letters of the english alphabet, and numbers. For example: ABC123)
Password: the default password is the 'Ne' text plus date of your birthday, in YYYYMMDD format. (for example: Ne19960430)

If you admission is processed throu felvi.hu, you should already received your Neptun ID via email. If this is not the case, please contact the Admissions Office (etk@uni-sopron.hu).
If you gained admission thou international exchange programs (Erasmus), please contact your mentor. (etk@uni-sopron.hu)

You can use your UNI-SOPRON ID to access IT Services provided by the University of Sopron. (Eduroam, Office 365, EduID)
The UNI-SOPRON ID is generated from your Neptun ID by appending the text @uni-sopron to it. (If your Neptun ID is ABC123 your UNI-SOPRON ID is ABC123@uni-sopron)

Your Neptun password and UNI-SOPRON ID password are independent from each other, if you change your Neptun password, your UNI-SOPRON ID's password stays the same, and vice versa.

The UNI-SOPRON ID is case insensitive, you can use either ABC123@uni-sopron.hu or abc123@uni-sopron.hu).

Office 365, Microsoft's cloud solution, is provided to the students by the UNI-SOPRON during the course of their studies at the university.

The Office 365 provides 50 GB email storage, 1 TB OneDrive storage, and other services as well. You can download the Office 365 ProPlus (the Office productivity suit) from the Office 365.

You can login to Office 365 using your UNI-SOPRON ID. To login to your Office 365 account for the first time, you have to change your default password. If you already changed your default UNI-SOPRON ID password you can login to Office 365.

After you logged in the Office 365, you can start the Office 365 Apps (Mail, Calendar, OneDrive, etc.) by clicking the App Launcher in the top left corner.

Login to Office 365, and start the Mail App.

After you started the App, set the language of your mailbox, and timezone (Sopron/Budapest is in the UTC+1 timezone.)

To view your email address, click on your profile picture in the top right corner.

After your logged in, click the 'Install Office 2016' button.

You can use your UNI-SOPRON ID to connect to the University of West-Hungary's WiFi network.

1. If you are using Windows (7-8-10) download and run eduroam.exe.
   The software will install the UNI-SOPRON 's Eduroam network configuration settings on your computer.
2. If your are using other operating system (macOS, Android, iOS), no configuration necessary.
3. Connect to the wireless network eduroam or eduroam2, and when asked for your username and password, enter your UNI-SOPRON ID.

The UNI-SOPRON is member of the Eduroam community, which means you can connect to the wireless network of universities in 72 countries using your UNI-SOPRON ID.
