The University of Sopron is an Active Participant in the Forest Europe Expert Meeting in Malmö

On March 10–11, 2026, Malmö, Sweden, is hosting the Expert Level Meeting (ELM) of the Forest Europe process, which brings together members from 45 European countries. This is a significant milestone in European forest policy cooperation. At the meeting, experts from participating countries are preparing for the Ministerial Conference to be held in Stockholm in early June, where the Stockholm Ministerial Declaration—defining the future directions of the continent's forest management—is expected to be adopted.

Spring Semester Opening in the Spirit of Hungarian Culture at the University of Sopron

The International Office of the University of Sopron welcomed the international students arriving for the spring semester with a special event introducing Hungarian culture. The gathering marked the beginning of the semester and offered an opportunity not only to greet the new students but also for senior international students to join the program, meet their new peers, and start the semester together.
