Last weekend of September is the time for the annual Researchers’ Night event. Where science, art and history come alive within the walls of many institutes, including our very own alma mater.

The Researchs’ Night draws in people from every age group year after year, with it’s varied programmes and activities. This year we offered close to 50 activities, including presentations, workshops and exciting experiments at the chemistry lab!

Over a hundred people came from town and the university as well. Many of the programmes were accessible for our international students too, who took active part in the event.

The University of Sopron has recently made its mark on the European stage, securing a place in the prestigious QS ranking of the best universities in Europe. Among Hungarian institutions, the University of Sopron proudly claims the 12th spot, a remarkable achievement for this esteemed higher education institution.

More than 40 international students attended the Information Day on 20^th of September 2023 that was organized with the intention of providing them with some basic knowledge on Hungarian legislation and making their administrative duties easier.
