On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary, Tahir Taghizade, and Mrs. Irada Rustamova hosted a reception and concert to celebrate the cultural and economic ties between Azerbaijan and Hungary.

A wine marketing presentation was recently held at the University of Sopron organized by the Economics Club, headed by Dr. Richárd Resperger. The presenters were Dr. Balázs Tihamér Sipos and Dr. Mihály Konkoly, both experts in the field of wine marketing. The event was moderated by Dr. habil. Zoltán Szabó. Prof. Dr. Zsuszanna Széles dean of the Alexandre Lamfalussy Faculty of Economics opened the event with her welcome speech.

On the 20th of May, the students of the University of Sopron had a chance to explore and learn about a very important historical event, the Pan-European picnic.

The event was organized drawing inspiration from the historical event itself, and included a symbolic picnic, as well as an escape room.

The International Semester Ending Party at “Károly Hill Ecotourism Visitor Center” was held on May 12^th 2023, to celebrate the end of the academic year for the students who have studied at the University of Sopron including all faculties. The party was organised to provide a fun and engaging environment for students to relax and unwind after a long semester of hard work. This report should provide an overview of the event and highlights its successes and areas for improvement.
