The first part of the program focused on language learning, talent development, and emotional intelligence. The guest speaker, Judit Daklhaouiné Nagy—author, language teacher, and talent development specialist at Széchényi István Gimnázium in Sopron—held an engaging lecture and interactive workshop based on her book “The Intersection of Foreign Language Talent and Emotional Intelligence.” As a multilingual educator, she offered valuable insights into how language learning and emotional awareness are closely connected.

She was accompanied by several of her talented language students from the school, including Zétény Tamás Tóth, a 10th-grade student, who also presented his own innovative project. Their presence added a unique and inspiring dimension to the session.

University students actively participated in the workshop, taking part in creative and thought-provoking exercises that encouraged self-reflection, communication, and deeper understanding of the role of emotional intelligence in language learning. The atmosphere was open, supportive, and interactive throughout.

The second part of the event shifted towards cultural experiences, highlighting the richness of the Spanish language and Latin American cultures. Students from Peru, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic prepared a colorful and engaging program, offering a glimpse into their countries through music, dance, and songs.

The event was organized by the Student Support Services and the International Office.
