A truly special atmosphere marked the debut of the Language Café, organized for university students by the team of the International Office. The goal of this informal, one-hour afternoon session was to build intercultural bridges, develop language skills, and strengthen the international student community.
The event was met with remarkable enthusiasm, bringing together more than 30 participants across tables dedicated to different languages. It turned into a genuine multicultural gathering, where international and Hungarian students alike joined the conversations. Special recognition goes to the representatives of the Arabic, Swahili, Spanish, and Portuguese language tables, who arrived exceptionally well-prepared with self-made illustrative materials and national flags, making language learning even more engaging.

As an essential companion to good conversations, participants were treated to hot tea, fresh Hungarian pogácsa, and delicious snacks. The relaxed discussions quickly dissolved language barriers, providing a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
This successful initiative will continue: the next Language Café is scheduled for December 8th, with specific details to be shared shortly by the International Office. For the upcoming session, we warmly welcome not only students, but university faculty members and instructors as well!
