On June 7, international students from the University of Sopron took part in a summer day trip to Graz, organized by the university’s International Office. The excursion offered a mix of art, culture, history and relaxation — a perfect way to wrap up the academic year.
The first stop was the iconic Kunsthaus Museum, where students explored the thought-provoking Freeing of Voices exhibition. The contemporary art displays sparked lively discussions and provided insight into modern artistic expression.
The group then headed to the famous Schlossberg, Graz’s historic hilltop fortress. They climbed up to the Clock Tower, walked through the gardens and enjoyed panoramic views of the city. Along the way, they learned about the history of both Graz and the Schlossberg itself.
The trip ended with some free time, allowing students to explore the city on their own, enjoy local cuisine, or simply relax in the early summer sun.
Everyone had a great time, and the day served as a memorable and rewarding close to the academic year.
